I was asked to make a ring with a real pearl in it. Real pearls – as opposed to cultured pearls – are extremely rare. There doesn’t seem to be anywhere to buy round, real pearls. So I managed to find these real Pacific pearls, from Australia. You will notice that the sheen on the pearl has more lustre than on any other pearl.
