I was trying to make some 18 carat sheet by squashing a molten ball of gold, and it came out wonderfully round. So I added a ruby and diamond and made it into a ring. Entirely unrepeatable.

I am interested in commissioning a ring like this for an engagement gift, would you be interested?
If possible could the molten ball of gold be made to resemble a leaf?
Also would you be able to tell me what gems are available in a deep blue, maybe lapis lazuli or aquamarine gemstone, as my partner’s eyes are quite a light blue.
I also would be interested to know if it would be possible to have one of the stones as a gemstone, and one as a piece of sea glass that I have collected?
My mum recommended your work to me and I’m so glad she did.
